We are looking for an Assistant Product Developer to join our team! Assistant Product Developer's primary responsibility is product development, with additional responsibility in product training. Training includes working with both new and experienced end users on applications (currently including but not limited to Outlook, ALX, Excel, LTL TMS and other ALX applications). Product Development

With oversight from the Director of Project Management, you will work with a team on continuous product improvement of our internal TMS platforms.  The goals are to be both the voice of the user and to maximize the user experience while meeting business objectives. It includes testing, talking to users and getting feedback on product improvements and adjustments.  Additionally, this role is responsible for communicating product improvements and changes to the technical team to make them a reality.  Ongoing collaboration with the technical team to define and refine the product, solving problems as they pop up and closely manage timelines and deliverables. 

  • Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal departments, user groups and other stakeholders.
  • Display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution.
  • Identify and present innovative and creative product solutions.
  • Assist in all product integration/launches/changes throughout implementation.
  • Assist in communication of new TMS changes/improvements and their associated customer, operational, system, & process impacts to the various internal organizations.
  • Uphold the company standard following the company principles of Customer, Company, Office
  • Work with end users to understand improvements, enhancements and to help troubleshoot day to day application issues as reported in ticketing systems, calls and emails.
